Title: Bourbon, Scotch, and Whisk(e)y
Post by: vripley on February 25, 2019, 10:20:18 AM
Let's discuss everything Bourbon, Scotch, and Whisk(e)y in here!

I'm a Scotch guy... Maybe it's because of my Scottish heritage (well, 1/5 or so).My favorite go to is Laphroaig 10 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky. I find the bold flavor to have a distinct smokey taste that includes a surprisingly good hint of seaweed. It tops off with a sweet aftertaste. Rich flavor through-and-through!

If you dig on Laphroaig, check out Caol Ila (kool eye-la). The last time I had it, it was the smoothest campfire I had ever tasted.

"Distinct smokey taste" is a very very mild way of putting it, V. Could make an interesting rusty nail?
