Title: Catch the Eclipse!
Post by: vripley on February 27, 2019, 08:50:57 AM
This time-lapse video is of the Partial Solar Eclipse in Brunswick Maryland on Monday, August 21, 2017.

Equipment: tripod mounted Canon 70D set at f/5.6, 1/25s, ISO 100, 55-200@200mm. Solar Filter: Baader Astrozap Solarfilter that was made for my Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.

The entire recording time was 3 hours and 5 minutes, and I took 2,234 photos in 5 second intervals; which created a 1:27 minute (23.976 fps) time-lapsed video.

I MacGyver'd my telescope solar filter to my camera with a box, duct tape, and a bungee cord...
